Week 1

Alot about the history of film and animation was talked about yesterday. But one thing that got me thinking was the link on how Eadweard Muybridge on how he finds out about that horse galloping and The Matrix.

I'm sure that almost everyone who watched The Matrix remembers the bullet time scenes. So, how did they do it? Well, it's kind of similar to the way Eadweard Muybridge finds out about the movement of the horse. They shot that scene on the green screen room. Still cameras were placed around Keanu Reeves aka Neo. Then as Neo does that dodging action, the cameras will take still pictures and these pictures are then compiled together and arranged to create as what is shown on the film.

Cool huh... Alot of planning though... hmmm..
